Meet the Holthaus Family

The Holthaus family’s journey with We Rock the Spectrum began not as owners, but as customers searching for a space where their son could feel truly understood and supported. After their oldest son, Tyler, was diagnosed with Level 2 Autism, Brandy and her husband Mike discovered We Rock the Spectrum and immediately felt at home. It became more than just a play space—it became a lifeline.

As a former welder, Mike never imagined his path would lead him to becoming the proud owner of an inclusive indoor playground. But inspired by Tyler’s journey and driven by a shared mission to help other families like theirs, Mike and Brandy took a leap of faith and took over We Rock the Spectrum – Edwardsville.

Their entire family is part of the journey. Tyler continues to thrive in a space built with his needs in mind. Their younger children, Greyson and Nora, are often found playing and exploring at the gym—showing just how much fun inclusion can be for all kids.

Today, the Holthaus family proudly provides a safe, welcoming place where children of all abilities can play, grow, and connect. They are passionate about building a community where every family feels seen, supported, and empowered.

From our family to yours—welcome to We Rock the Spectrum Edwardsville, where there’s a place for everyone.
